It's kind of weird having all of that just a 20 min ride on the E away and this is the first glance I see of the area since almost 3 years ago when I had a meeting at an office that overlooked the WTC a few months after the events. There are always stories in the papers, but I just do my best to skip over them.

Last month I went to see two films and before both, the preview for the WTC movie was shown and I started balling both times. The sniffling that went on long after the preview was over clued me into knowing I wasn't the only one either.

I agree that the stories have to be told, but as a NYC native, as someone who had to live through 9/11 firsthand, it is waaaaaaay too soon for all of that.
