iMac Woes

with 2 comments

So…in the never ending saga that is my iMac….the software update feature notified me yesterday that a new patch for OS X was ready. I installed it and eventually shut down my system. This morning when I boot up my machine….my keyboard and mouse are totally unresponsive!

Yes, I shelled out extra bucks for a totally wireless & bluetooth enabled system. Unfortunately, this latest OS patch killed my bluetooth capability.

So now, I must purchase a USB keyboard and Mouse (or find a spare to borrow at work for the night!) to try to remedy the issue.

I am actually writing this post on my work laptop..of course, which is a PC. The beautiful white sculpture that is my Mac is pouting in a dim corner of my apartment. It is having a little time-out. That is what it gets for throwing a temper tantrum.

Who said Mac’s were childproof? Yes, the thing looks aweful cute…but it can throw fits like any old PC!

  1. I still think the Mac is totally worth it. Apart from my hard drive crashing and losing all my data…the thing has run flawlessly! Well, aside from the bluetooth thing I just wrote about :)

The hard drive thing was really a crapshoot and could have happened to any machine, PC or Mac. I should have been smart and had a backup.

  2. Your stories are making it hard for me to convince my sister to buy a Mac.
