Sailing Alone Around the World: (11/22/10). Rating 8 out of 10. True account of Mr. Slocum’s solo trip around the world in his hand-made 36 foot wooden boat! The three year ordeal is full of adventure and very well written.

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance: (11/13/10). Rating 3 out of 10. Story of a father road-tripping with his young son in the 1960’s. The book is very tough to follow and a hard read. The message is powerful, but it takes endurance to make it all the way through.

The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari: (11/2/10). Rating 7 out of 10. Fable that captures a number of important life lessons. Very easy and quick to read. Not ground-breaking but insightful, especially if you haven’t read much in terms of spiritual or personal development.
